Matcha Einspanner

Ingredients

Cold Foam

  • 1 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 2 tsp agave syrup

Directions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a bowl and add half the water. Add in the agave syrup and whisk until well combined.
  2. Pour in the remaining water and whisk vigorously for 30 seconds. 
  3. Raise the whisk to the surface of the foam and continue whisking in a gentle zigzag motion for an additional 10 seconds.
  4. Fill a glass with ice and add 4 oz milk.
  5. Pour the matcha mixture and stir until combined.
  6. To make the cold foam, measure out the heavy cream and 1 oz milk. Then add 1/2 tsp of agave syrup and use a hand-held frother to beat the ingredients until it’s thick and slightly runny. 
  7. Pour the cold foam on top of the matcha.
  8. Dust the top with some matcha powder.
