Kinako Cream Ingredients

  • 50g heavy cream
  • 10g kinako
  • 10g agave

Directions

  1. Sift the hojicha powder into a bowl and add half the water. Whisk until the powder is dissolved.
  2. Pour in the remaining water and whisk vigorously for 30 seconds. 
  3. Raise the whisk to the surface of the foam and continue whisking in a gentle zigzag motion for an additional 10 seconds.
  4. Measure the milk into a cup and add honey or sweeten to taste. Mix well.
  5. Fill a glass with ice and add the milk. Pour the hojicha over and stir.
  6. Whisk together heavy cream, kinako, and agave. Top it off with the cream and serve.
